About Me & Why I Do This Work

With over 20 years of professional experience in the animal industry, I’ve had the privilege of working in dog and cat boarding facilities, grooming shops, veterinary offices, private pet‑sitting companies, and even small farm settings. I’m certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, a certified dog groomer, fully insured, and a dedicated pet‑nutrition enthusiast. Animals have always been at the center of my life.

The Heart Behind My Business

This business began because of one very special soul — the brown pup. Jack came into my life in October 2007 and changed everything. For years, it was just him and me. Jack was my family, my child, and the reason I learned how to stand on my own two feet. I always put him first, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

When I learned we didn’t have much time left together, I cleared my schedule and made those final two weeks the best of our lives. I didn’t want to miss a single moment. After he passed in March 2022, I knew the greatest way to honor his life was to continue sharing the love he gave me — by caring for your pets with the same devotion. He will forever be in my heart.

What Led Me Into Specialized Pet Care

My journey into specialized, attentive care truly began with Jake — the sweet boy, gray pup. I adopted him at three years old, and he faced more health challenges than most dogs do in a lifetime. Seasonal allergies, chronic yeast infections, and three separate episodes of paralysis shaped our early years together.

Despite being told an X‑ray wouldn’t show anything, I kept searching for answers. As a single pet parent working two part‑time animal‑care jobs in New Jersey, I poured everything I had into helping him. After two long years, an X‑ray finally revealed the truth: degenerative disc disease.

When he was only three, after laser surgery, I was told to consider putting him down. But he was still full of joy, and I refused to give up on him. From there, we tried everything — water therapy, muscle work, laser treatments, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, chiropractic care. Every dollar I earned went straight to his healing.

He came everywhere with me. I carried him in a baby pouch, pushed him in a stroller, used a wheelchair when needed, and spent countless nights carrying him down three flights of stairs in the freezing cold so he could go potty. We lived on pee pads, alarms, and determination. And after those first two difficult years, he walked for the rest of his life. His allergies and yeast problems cleared up thanks to CBD Dog health products.

Jake passed on November 3, 2025, but he shaped the way I see animals forever. He taught me to pay attention — to the way they move, the way they communicate, the subtle signs that something isn’t right. He taught me patience, resilience, and unconditional love.
